What are your plans for the future? Say for the next 10 years ,next 25 years ,or the next 50 years if you are young . How will you spend those years and what are your hopes and dreams for your future . If you are like most people you have your dreams and your plans for the future , there is certainly nothing wrong with dreaming and planning .But lets look a little farther into the future ,say 200 years ahead .Where will you be 200 years from now ,you say dead , of course , your body will be dust but what about your soul ,where will it be ? God tells us that it is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement . How will you face the judgement of God ,will you be found guilty or innocent .
The word of God says that we are all born guilty of sin ,and are worthy of death .But the good news is that somebody took our guilt upon Himself and took our punishment for our sin . That person was Jesus ,the son of God who took the punishment for our sins by being executed upon a cross . But what is really amazing is that he did not stay dead but he came back to life proving Himself to indeed be the son of God .
If you believe this to be true in your heart and you will confess Jesus as Lord with your mouth the word of God says that you will be saved ,saved from your sins and saved from an eternal separation from God in a place called the Lake of Fire which the bible calls the second death.Confessing Jesus as Lord is not just some majic words we say but words that strongly imply that a person has turned from his sins and has surrendered his life to Jesus and has placed their hope and trust in Him .
So where do you plan on spending your future .

Great article and im a non believer (skeptical actually). I hope in 200 years im in a place where i at least know the answer to what comes next after our physical life is ended. i\I call myself skeptical but i think if there's nothing left after this it was all a waste anyways.

This really got me thinking. I am a believer. I hope that 200 years from now I am in heaven with all of the friends and family that I cherish here on earth today. It made me think more about what I need to say to the people around me to assure that they will be there with me.
I'll be dead. I don't believe in an afterlife - it's the life I have now that I must do the most with.

Great thinking to write an article about. I liked the article and wanted to add REBIRTH to it. And 200 years from now, i'll be reborn again the second time.
I've almost died from a serious illness 9 years ago. Since then, I have viewed every new day as a gift. 200 years from now I will still praise Jesus as the God of Second Chances.
That's definitely something to think about...who knows where we'll be? it's really an impossible question to answer, all you can do is guess, and hope for the best. I just hope i'm with all the people i love most, regardless of where i am.

This article is so true. Most people would say dead, but I believe in what God tells us. I believe that in 200 years I will be in heaven looking down on my great-great grandchildren and their families. I believe that I will walk through those pearly gates and my family will be together watching over our desecendants. I also believe that I will be at peace and be in the best place there is.
I think I will be at some other planet in space. Till then new inventions may have made it possible to holiday around anywhere outside the earth.

200 years from now I hope htat more than anything I am with my mother, talking, laughing and enjoying a cup of french vanilla coffee in heaven!
In 200 years, I believe that I will be in the presence of God, serving Him in whatever way he chooses, and moving towards His ultimate plan for goodness and grace.
